Influences	well, some of the oldies...Cat Stevens (now Yusuf Islam), Beatles, John Denver, Peter Paul & Mary, Mississippi John Hurt, LeadBelly, Chet Atkins, Phil Keaggy, Randy Stonehill, & John Standefer. ...but also like lots of other music too. Really just a wide variety, but mostly guitar based stuff; acoustic, electric, good Country tunes, lots of great Christian contemporary artists. Phil Keaggy is great. ,
Sounds Like	me... some have said I sound like Randy Stonehill (who's that?) I like his work...John Denver...yada, yada...just like to sing & play. Sometimes I sound like a frog, but that's when I don't get (take) time to practice...which is pretty often these days. When I do practice regularly and get in a groove, I sound pretty decent. Ya gotta put your soul into music...or let it grab you so you just fall into it.,
Record Label	none todate...but if you want to sign me...hey, let's get together. Hey, I wanta record...sometimes ya know, I get the blues from life and music, but keep on lookin' up best I can. A guy needs a break somewhere along the line.

charlied's Interests

General	playing/learning guitar...never can know enough (it's like food and cooking). I love to write songs and play & sing. Working on some recording currently.
Music	I like a broad range of music...from Country to rock...classical Christian...LeadBelly to Bethovan...(gee...somehow I feel that I misspelled that). Interested in doing some professional jingle work. I have written quite a few songs never been published, working to get some recording done...goal is to get some music setup here at MusicForte...please check back.
Movies	Just like good movies...more along the line of real life...not too much fantasy...although a little fantasy IS necessary in life...isn't it? I do appreciate a good Sci-Fi (space stuff) and I want to see Ratatoullie soon I hope. Hey wouldn't it be cool to write some scores for a movie?
Television	Not too much...some baseball football. I did watch some of the "American Idol"...enjoyed some of it...oh & I like "24" but it's so unreal (at least I hope it is). Like "real life" not reality shows. Nature shows (some are cool) but I really don't watch much TV these days.
Hobbies	Music, reading, writing, yard work, camping, hiking, fishing...and being with people who love me yeah! I like to cook bake, & eat.,
Views	hey, I'm just tryin' to survive... like you? Life is hard...but God made you and me. He loves us more than we can know and He won't give up on us. He's in control...trust Him.

About charlied

I am just an average guy...whatever that means. I love music...thanks Mom. When I was a child we would often go for a drive on Sundays  and usually end up singin'...Mom had to keep us busy someway and that worked pretty well. I picked up guitar when the Beatles were coming onto the scene; yeah  yeah, yeah...I am not bad but not great...but  when you love doing something you just do it. I love to write...and have written quite a variety.

I have had to start recording because I was losing my music and starting to forget some of my tunes...yikes! can' t do that! So  I am in a project to record as many of my tunes as I can...it's taking too long. I get less time now than ever before to work on music...still have a long way to go.

I have played quite a bit in the past with the worship team at church  do some specials when requested...want to get out and do more with my music and music in general. Am wanting to find someone to work with that is able to sing  play, write and put their heart into it.

I'd love to work with someone who wants to play  gig, write, record and even make some money. Christian music  country, MOR/light rock...

I really would like to gig and record...I also am interested in doing jingles.
