Tajuan attended Thornridge High School in South Suburban Chicago. The school is best known for it's strong music education program. Having a musical background Tajuan was able to adapt to the fierce enviroment that included school mates Pevin Everitt (Jazz artist) Sylena Johnson (Jive records recording artist) and Daniel Weatherspoon (2001 Stellar Gospel producer of the year). Between 1991-and 93 Tajuan began to gain more recognition for his trumpet playing. In 1993 he was a featured trumpet soloist at the Mid West Music Clinic in Chicago. He also won numerous solo awards in jazz and classical music and also played for the Governor's State University Jazz Ensemble at age 16 by his Junior year of high school
In 1993 Tajuan formed a group called The Walk by Faith Community Choir which was inspired by the John P Kee hit song
Walk by Faith became an overnight success and gained recognition quickly throughout Chicago. They have been featured on top Chicago radio programs and have shared stages with Ricky Dillard Walt Wittman, and Rev Clay Evans. This adventure opened a lot of opportunities for the 17-year-old Tajuan White. Tajuan would however find a suceeder for his first music group and migrate to Carbondale Illinois to study Music Business at Southern Illinois University.
In 1994 he founded the Cast Your Cares Crusade Choir another community base group
In 1997 Mr. White founded "The CYC Basketball Tournament". This tournament held at SIU each year was brought about to establish unity and feature some of the most outstanding basketball players on the high school and Collegiate levels throughout the region.
During his stay in Southern Illinois Tajuan also established himself as a popular radio personality at WDBX and he has spent time performing with the SIU Gospel choir and Chamber Choir and keeping his trumpet skills up to par with the SIU Jazz Ensemble.
Tajuan White earned a music business degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago. In 2003 he opened Lajuan Entertainment Recording Studios which was the predecessor to Urban Dream Records.
