Debra Davis is a singer/songwriter who writes hooky songs that hit deep. Debra is a storyteller and her visual folk/rock songs reveal people places and feelings that reach us all.
Songs from her 3 CDs have been featured in numerous films and TV shows including “Beautiful People” (ABC Family) “Dawson’s Creek (WB)”, and “Any Day Now” (Lifetime). “ Debra’s latest CD “Complete”, features a duet with 5-time Grammy winner Christopher Cross.
Debra has also recently released the “Music for Moms” CD a collection of Debra’s tunes that celebrate the generations of motherhood and powerful women in all of our lives.
Debra is featured as the cover story in this summer’s issue of the national “Singer/Musician” magazine. She has tunes on retail store audio systems nationwide and is featured
on the “Real Artists Working” documentary airing on PBS affiliates.
Her songs are on several compilation CDs for good causes including “It’s About Eve” for breast cancer research and “Home” for Children International. In a partnership with RIF (Reading is Fundamental) she published the “Angel Story Book” of kids stories and Debra’s music.
Debra and her Band of Gold are powerfully fun live, and have a big following of fans (including lots of kids!) who call themselves “debheads.”
