Formed in November 2005 from the ashes of such local bands as The Burn Journal and My Dying Breath The five of us all came together for one common goal to not only do what we love but take what we love and make it our own. Candice (guitar) and Rick (guitar) have been playign together for over 3 years and they have always saw eye to eye when it comes to the direction they would like the music to go. Scott (bass) and Tyler (vocals) have been in multiple bands on and off with each other for over 2 years so they have always had an idea of what they wanted musically and Dustin (drums) was never in any prior bands but he has been playing the drums for over 6 years.
The 5 of us crossed each others path through Tyler he was in both The Burn Journal with Rick and Candice and My Dying Breath with Scott only Scott was a Custom Percussionist and Dustin worked with Tyker and Scott and over heard Tyler talk about doing a band but needing a drummer and thats how Die Right Now was formed.
Over the past 4 months we have played at 3 or more shows a month we have recorded a 4 song demo and we are slowly gathering a fan base. A lot of people think we have been playing for years but when we tell them just four months they are amazed. The band name does tend to throw people off by looking at it you would think we are a death metal band with blast beats mind bursting screaming and speed picking all they way which is far from the truth we do have some heavy stompy parts but it is mostly melodic verses with upbeat catchy Chourses the sound we have is like the taste of chaos all balled up into a 30-45 min set.
From here we hope like most bands to get far we are still at the bottom so there is only one way to go and that is up and hopfully that is where our sound will take us.
