The Earwigs were all students at Aviation High School in Redondo Beach CA in 1978. We frequented clubs like The Whiskey and The Masque and were inspired to start our own band. We started by playing parties and soon began playing venues with our friends and mentors The Last and The Urinals (100 Flowers). We contributed one track to the "Keats Rides A Harley" (1981) compilation and one to the "Warfrat Tales" (1983) compilation. The band broke up in 1981 but reformed in 2005 (minus Kevin Kerns who unfortunately passed away in 2002) for the CD release party of the compilations mentioned above. |
