I am a singer/songwriter. I have been writing music for most of my life Wide variety of influences from 60s folk/rock bluegrass, old country to 90s alternative. My songs tend to be melodic and generally upbeat but sometimes dark.
I have always been strongly influenced by Brit rock. I grew up only listening to the Beatles that might have something to do with it.
In High School I went through a Led Zeppelin phase - listened only to Led Zep. A Neil Young phase - listened only to Led Zep... A Doors phase.
Went through a blue grass and a classical phase when I got older. A Miles Davis phase John Coltrane. A brief (very brief) country phase.
I studied music composition at college (LSU) but didn't concentrate on performing until relatively recently. So my chops aren't great yet but they are good and I am always working on getting better at both songwriting and performing.

Very nice stuff.
I think the title " Evening Song" fits the song perfectly. Also, thanks for the add.

 | ROBERT FARMER: 'IN A DREAM'
Atmospheric/Rock, meaningful, moving, and passionate. Influenced by the British rockers such as: Peter Gabriel, mix in some Jeff Beck, Robert Plant, Pink Floyd & Eric Clapton, and there you have it. Any questions?
