Now and again, I run into people who have written songs that are catalouged solely in the writer's head. They sing their masterpiece. The band plays within their own ears unheard by anyone but them.
They know the melody the words, the rhythm, but there's something missing.
They can't share the strings the progression, the raging bassline, the horns...
They lack the means by which to record or transcribe their work. Tragically this is often a dead end for many great songs.
Musical composers are craftsmen just like lyricists.
Collectively songwriters tend to come in pairs.
There are many lyricists that don't play an instrument.
There are many musicians that don't write lyrics.
I am a musician and songwriter. I'm also a seasoned "sound guy". I enjoy helping people hone their skills and realize their dreams.
If you would like your songs put to music I can put music to your songs.
Anything is possible. No job is too big too small, too strange.
Some songs require only a little piano some beg for full orchestration.
I charge by the hour or by the song.
Credits and royalties are split equally.
Please understand that I am not looking to join a band. I can help you put one together but I've paid my dues in the "sell-your-own-tickets/pay-to-play" club scene. It's a big wank. I'm happy to play out but I get paid to do so.
