Realize that you're on this Earth for one go around, and then the Creator brings you back to himself; if you reject him, you cannot go back home, but instead will have to be trashed into eternal damnation; therefore, while we are here, we must love, extend love, teach love, and love with no restrictions; most importantly, love the Creator, God who is the maker and head of all things.
Garry B. Coston was born in Jacksonville Florida on October 4th. Raised in a small North Florida Town where Soul R&B and Gospel were the fore these genres were instilled in Coston's soul at a very early age. Soul Blues, R&B and gospel can be clearly heard in Coston's vocals. Coston was schooled in vocal instruction and sight reading from Mr. Andrew J. Wright while attending Sarasota High. Coston would never forget the help and instruction received from Mr. Wright in addition to sightreading as these items are what helps to make him the professional singer that he is today. Coston began fronting professional bands in 1989 and writing his own music much earlier in 1982. Coston has performed while in the U.S. Navy in Scotland Germany, and on various U.S. Naval vessels. In addition he has performed in numerous Blues Bands while in the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area from 1994 to 2004. In 2004 Coston moved to West Central Florida where he has had the privilege of performing with the West Central Florida Bands Lionheart Funk Monster Band and Late Night Brass. Coston has collaborated and performed with South Florida Greats o.b.a. Frank Lords in which he covered a dance single entitled Oh No originally cut by the Commodores Toby Vickers of Faze II Connection Vala Vickers, Arty K,and Jim Tobaschus. While in West Central Florida Coston has collaborated with other local musicians such as Kip Cline of Late Night Brass Richard James of Funk Monster Band and Marko of Lionheart. Coston's plans and goals are to become an international singer Frontman and Recording Artist and to eventually develop new talent in the vain of the Old School type of vocal sounds.
