Gary T. Cavanaugh has been performing since he was fifteen years old. He is an accomplished musician and songwriter who is well known in the Colorado area. Gary came to Nashville about six years ago to learn how to write better.” Nashville is a whole new ballgame he relates. The talent in this city is amazing. I am also grateful for all the help and kindness that has been shown to me by the songwriters that live here. “ Gary has a two song contract with Ash Street Music. One of the greatest thrills of his life was playing on the WSM Grand Ole Opry spotlight with Don Wayne C, J, Watson and Tim Schumacher. The show reached an estimated audience of 2 million people. Gary has also hosted two writing nights in Nashville. The venues were Hobo Joe’s and The top of the Barrel. Gary is currently performing at the Bluebird café on Sunday writer nights and has scheduled his first 6:30 round at the Bluebird café on November 14th,2006. Gary continues his studies . He is committed to learning the craft of songwriting.
