Jay Michael Sr., Composer, vocalist, musician and performing artist has well over 30 years experience writing music singing, playing multiple instruments and performing.
He performs a variety of cover music: Country Classic Rock, Oldies, Easy Listening, Gospel, Contemporary Christian and some instrumental. His original compositions cover multiple genre of music. He has performed before audiences of 18,000. Though the 12 -string acoustic guitar is his choice instrument it is not uncommon to hear his magic emerge through a 6 string acoustic ,electric guitar or banjo. On occasion his sweet serenades are dedicated to the violin harmonica, keys, and multiple others. Grand breath of fresh air!
Jay Michael has been singing and playing music on whatever instrument he could beg borrow, or buy since he was 7 years old. He started writing at the early age of 12 years. Through his infatuation with this art he pursued two majors and a minor in music by the time he graduated high school. As a Registered Nurse Reserve Police Officer and past Emergency Rescue/Fire Fighter multiple inspirations motivated his writings. When asked about his love for music Jay Michael states " I love to share my music and cherish the chance to share it with the world. I feel so blessed when I see people in my audience smile sing along or shed a tear with my songs! I hope others are touched by my work."
