I started out playing piano when I was about 5 years old. My grandfather was a professional organist/pianist. From there I studied the guitar and played in a surf/rock band with a bunch of guys. I liked the drums better so ended up teaching myself the drumkit. A few months later I was signed to USA records with an all girl band THE DAUGHTERS OF EVE.
We toured for 2 1/2 years promoting our records that we had out.
the band broke up and I went to further my career in L.A. I have performed with Michael McDonald and many more cover bands.
I have been a rockabilly drummer since the early 80's and enjoy playing this style immensely. I can play all styles and have studied theory and drum charts at DICK GROVE'S MUSIC WORKSHOP and have a certificate from PIT @ MUSICIAN'S INSTITUTE in Hollywood. |
