Hi everybody! I am suppose to say something about me here? All right... let's see: I am Luana Ioannou a very brilliant & talentated artist from Europe (oops! who said that?) with a B.A. and Master in Piano performance & teaching and a Ph.Dr in musichology concerts and piano solo recitals in Europe.
I use to play that beautiful instrument since I was 5. When I was young :) (hahaha I mean younger!) I got lots of distinctions in classical piano and classical composition contests... now I teach others to do the same as I did :). I am inlove with music I eat it, dream it, breath it, live it!
Beside classical and film music I like any other kind of music that touches my soul (see style influences and music interests in my profile). Also write songs for children and here in Greece the CD "Notes & Colours" (Music Simulator Editions) has great succes. That's good for my pocket! hahaha!
About the music uploaded here: all the songs are 100% Luana's productions. That includes songwritings lyrics, arrangements, voice, mixings, mastering... Made in Luana's ...kind of ...Home (virtual) Studio (PC lots of software & plugins AKG C12VR microphone).
The two instrumental songs (Smirni and Morning prayer) are from the SOUNDTRACK I composed in 2001 for a documentar film about Epiros a very beautiful zone of Greece with many archaeological places.
Maybe I will upload some greek music I wrote ...some day! :) I DID! (see To Psema)

Hi Luana
What you may have missed!
Just added "When Death Divides" I wrote this song after losing my Aunty Bet. I loved her very much and she was the closest to me, closer than my own mother. She was a very special person.
Also you might not have heard "I Want You Back"
I hope you like the darker songs so far, from "Where do I Go?" I have featured
"Nothing Goes As Planned" a song about living with poverty and the confusion, the human struggle to survive.
"Man With A Gun" Gave me a lot of positive feedback to which is probably my darkest song yet.
This weeks song is "Always Be The One" which deals with the frustration of keeping your loved one knowing that you do love her."
If you haven't had a chance to listen please do. Next week will feature the last of the songs from "Where Do I Go? as in September I will be featuring songs from the album "Time" which will be available to buy on CD from the middle of next month.
