When you first hear the music of Kevin Doberstein you are reminded of moonrises sunrises, sunsets, thunderstorms and nature sounds blended with the wood flute. The acoustic wood flute combined sometimes with the world of nature provides deep meditation and relaxation compositions that provide an ambient sound.
The artist greatly admired the works of Carlos Nakai Coyote Oldman, Kelvin Mockingbird, Robert Mirabal, Paul Horn, Bill Miller, Ruben Romero, and other great artists. Trying to stay on his own music creative path he looks for unique ways to express the wood flute. Other acoustic instruments that he uses are bamboo transverse flute drums, rattles, didgeridoo, bone whistle, and mainly the Native American style wood flute.
He infuses his music with spiritual soul and a deep admiration of what the creator gave humankind.
