Great New Update
It was great to perform at Sunfest for our local fans. Paul Howards & the "Jazz Atack" tour featuring Rick Braun, Jonathan Butler, Richard Elliot and Peter White made the afternoon one Jazzy time.

If I would have to categorize I would be group me in with Joe Pass, Pat Metheny, Lee Ritenoir, Ken Narvarro, Marc Antoine. Though of course, I believe that my sound is all of the above and none or else there's no point in being a musician if I thought someone else sounded like me.

Independent Artists Company (KIAC) currently has 6 of his songs in the top 20 in Jazz with his sultry Latin song "El Viento" making it to the top spot. His debut album ""First Dance"" is #5 in Latin Jazz & #15 in Smooth Jazz on Mp3tunes. Radiowave is charting 7 of his songs on their Prime Mover and Hot Sheet in Jazz Latin & Urban and can be heard throughout web radio. Born in Manila Noel Played in a rock band as a teenager though his mother urged him to take piano lessons. But his love was always the acoustic guitar. He also loved caring for animals and pursued a career in veterinary medicine. Musicially at that time he got exposed to the music of George Benson Wes Montgomery, Paul Desmond, and the modern jazz instrumentalists. He later moved to South Florida where Latin Beats and Jazz influences were all around. There he found his perfect musical fit. He started to concentrate on perfecting his craft through tireless practice and soulful dedication. His music today is an expression of his musical and personal journey as he continues work on his third album which promises to surpass his debut accomplishments adding flute sax and vocals to the mix.
Noel Lorica is distributed nationally on ITunes Napster, Rhapsody, Msn Music, MusicNet, Yahoo, Tower Records, etc...and South Florida regional Barnes & Nobles. Each song of Noel has it's own character and touches each person differently that's what seems to set them apart and what keeps more than one song on radio playlists. Hi Noel,
Thank you so much for inviting me to be your friend. I am listening to your music as I write this note, and it is really great. I had an invitation from another very accomplished guitarist, Marcus, a couple of days ago, and I must say I admire you guys. It must be a terribly difficult instrument to play to the standard that you two do, but it must also be so satisfying to get such beautiful music from a simple instrument with no external assistance.
