Praise for Rebecca Worthleys music:
"Pop/folk wonder child"Indie Music
"One of the most poignant and wistfully beautiful albums this reviewer has heard for years" (Tony Cummings - Cross Rhythms)
"Opened me up to a new sound" (Gary Felton - Got Beats Records CEO)
"It sends shivers down your spine." (Wood Ingham - Movement Magazine SCM)
"The most immediately striking thing about this Exeter-based singer-songwriter's work is her innovative approach to texture which provides a haunting and full-bodied foil for her soulful lilting singing voice."David Kidman NetRhythms
"You wont regret getting a copy of this." (Alan Chesters - Cross Rhythms)
"If Dido and Enya had a love child and Tori Amos became the godmother in a ceremony on her English countryside estate surrounded by wood nymphs and fairies chances are this amazing new being would be British singer-songwriter Rebecca Worthley." Liza Monroy Indie Music

Almost in August and it is another lovely weekend. I have just changed from songs from "Riding On A Dark Cloud", to some of my darker songs. I hope you like them.
I am starting off with a song about poverty, no it isn't about feed the poor. It is just about the confusion an human struggle to survive. While "Riding On A Dark Cloud" the music is very 60's based this is different more synths and much darker.
I hope you drop my and give the song a listen and other songs if you have time.
Have a great weekend. |
