Influences

Fingerstye is a "dead giveaway", of course. Most influences of my style are from my heroes: Chet Atkins, Doyle Dykes, Jerry Reed, Brent Mason and many more..... Of course, hours on end, evening to past midnight (often way passed midnight) listening to these guitarists play and try to figure out what they do on specific recordings is where most of the knowledge I grasped and still use in composing and arranging the material I enjoy playing., |

I enjoy fishing, camping and things of that nature. I mostly enjoy church. I have attended church most of my life and I appreciate it more and more. That's where I get uplifted and blessed. There are wonderful and encouraging preaching, testamonies and songs in every service - all I need to do is listen.

Wood could be one of my favorites if I'd spend the time in the shop more. I also enjoy the computer. Guitar is by far the favorite hobby I have - it's a passion.
