THE FEATHERTOPS one of the most talked about bands in the Philadelphia area bring rock to a new level in their widely anticipated international release MEET THE MOOKS. The album was recorded produced, and mixed at RDStudios by Ron DiSilvestro and mastered at Studio 4 Recording by Phil Nicolo.
THE FEATHERTOPS were members of the Original Philadelphia based Paull Green School of RockAll Star Band. The band members have played the East Coast West Coast, Sundance Film Festival, Tempe Music Festival, Zappanale fest in Germany the Les Paul Tribute Show in Roseland and much more. THE FEATHERTOPS have produced we hope you agree an old time rock n' roll album. You want to listen from the first song to the last. The band combines rock with blues r&b, and a little southern rock to form their own unique sound.

MEET THE MOOKS contains 11 songs which highlights the best of a live FEATHERTOPS show. The songs range from great dance tunes to powerful ballads. There are great dance tunes like "TOPHERS BIG DAY" .An incredible story in the "ODYSSEY"( wait for that sax). The beautiful haunting rock ballad "LORD JIM" based on the Joseph Conrad novel of the same name. "LEAVIN TOWN" and "TARBUCKET BLUES" will satisfy any lover of southern style rock and country. "That is only the tip of the iceberg" as the old saying goes.
The album also contains a bonus track THE FOWL SUITE . This is one of a kind. THE FOWL SUITE is a 11 1/2 minute song that is a union of three tracks. It is what makes rock n' roll great . Turn your cell phone off and enjoy .
MEET THE MOOKS was produced on " black vinyl" . This is a black cd that looks like an old .45 record it even has grooves. It brings back memories of playing a real record. This is a unique novelty.
