 About The Post Scripts
 The Post Scripts:
The Furthest Thing from an Afterthought

“We’re like crack for the ears.” – Charlie Buccola (Vocals/ Guitar)

T.P.S. is a three piece band from the small town of Barnegat  New Jersey. The band started as a small acoustic project called Biorhythum  founded by Charles Buccola (Vocals/ Guitar) and Mark Cimino (Drums). Biorhythum lasted for about two years and the two decided they needed something more as far as sound. Drums and guitar just weren’t enough. In June of 2006 they met up with their new bassist  Anthony Capriotti (Bass/ Vocals). Charlie remembered him as the lead guitarist of an old band they were in  but since then Ant had picked up bass and excelled at it.

When they met up to practice for the first time it was obvious that they had a great sound and chemistry with one another. They seemed to play as if they had played together their whole lives. They immediately started writing songs together and soon realized that the song writing and sound had evolved form the old days of Biorhythum. They decided that it was actually time to say goodbye to Biorhythum and adopt a new name. The band decided on The Post Scripts or T.P.S. as they are more commonly known.

Since then the group has already accomplished a lot. Their first show as a band was at the legendary Stone Pony’s Winter Break Party. They have played several shows there  including a show in which they headlined alongside The Red Lyte District. They have also played a show for Max Cruise Entertainment and played at a Saint Patrick’s Day Party thrown by Scorched Records. The whole time they were capturing the hearts and attention of everyone who heard them.

“Yo you kids are pretty sick! Keep on doin’ what yous’ are doin’.”
- DJ Timmy P.

T.P.S. was also accredited with being "91.7 WLFR’s favorite power trio". This point was proven when Charlie went in for an interview and to play some acoustic songs on the show “Under the Covers.” It turned into a two hour T.P.S. tribute. The show was to promote the upcoming album and it did very well; getting the most phone calls the station has ever gotten during the show according to the show’s host Matt Riess.

Now after a year of hard work  writing,  and recording,  T.P.S. is coming out with their debut album “Songs You Can Eat Cake To.” The album is an eclectic blend of alternative rock with a hint of blues  punk,  ska tones,  and funk. There are clear influences of bands such as Green Day  Bright Eyes,  Three Doors Down,  Sublime,  Jack Johnson,  and Weezer. These influences don’t seem like they would mix too easily  but T.P.S. has become the catalyst to mix these sounds  creating music and a style that can only be described as The Post Scripts.
