Do you love to rock? Regardless of your favorite band if you love rock you’ll love New Son Rising (NSR). Their powerful yet polished sound rivals that of the current most popular national acts. Catch them while you can because this band is going places. NSR promises to be the biggest act in New England and beyond over the next year. They are currently hard at work on a follow-up to their self-titled debut EP. The EP is an 8-song work that has music for every mood and emotion up and down the spectrum. It quickly broke them into the FMQB radio chart’s top 30 and gave them the opportunity to open for various national acts such as: Josh Todd Sevendust, Drowning Pool, Drop Box, Adema, Brides of Destruction, Kittie, LA Guns, and Nonpoint.
Front man Jake Lundell has studied recorded, and played with some of Boston’s most famous industry gurus. They have taught him well not only can Jake write powerful lyrics but also he can sing them with skilled flare. The rest of the band is rounded out by Chris Thomas on guitar and vocals Adam Nichols on drums and NSR’s newest addition Kellan Kleinfelter on bass guitar. Each has skill talent, and an obvious drive to succeed. Although their individual backgrounds and styles appear very different when they come together as a group magic happens and that familiar rock sound gets an exciting new twist.
New Son Rising has got the whole package: looks sound, and presence! Whether on or off the stage you get the vibe that these are guys that you want to be near just to see what will happen next and hope you get to go along for the ride. |
