Woody Guthrie's writing and empathy for the downtrodden influenced me. But I am three degrees from Woody Guthrie in that Bob Dylan was mentored by Wood Guthrie and Bob Dylan influenced me. I also am influenced by Leonard Cohen's style of writing of poetry in music., |
