TourniKueT was founded in 2003 with the meeting of Mosh Maddox and Damien Byrne soon after meeting at a party they began rehearsing together. Both were in seperate bands at the time and planned these rehearsals to result in a collaboration project. Realizing the potential of what had just been created Mosh and Damien abandoned their current bands with the addition of Danny Blades (bass player and long-time friend of Damien's former band) R.A.M. (former drum programer for Mosh's original band) and newcomer to the music scene Cyanide, they began recording and performing together as the newly formed band TourniKueT. Then in early 2005 it was rumored that Danny Blades would soon be leaving the band for unknown reasons. These allegations were later fulfilled in mid 2005 when Cyanide filled in as bass player for the band. After Blades' departure TourniKueT fell into a dark silence as they continued to record/produce the demo entitled "Questionz". It was during this silence that TourniKueT as a band, underwent many changes. In 2006 TourniKueT emerged from the silence with a new bassist(Drig) a new drummer (Seriph) a completed demo (Sunday School Fuck-ups Vol. 1) and a heavier sound. They have since created a unique sound that they have self- dubbed "Horror Hardcore". After many more lineup changes Mosh, Damien, and R.A.M.(who later went by the name "DJ Seed") remain the only original members.
Since their birth in 2003 TourniKueT has become one the most recognizable and arguably most controversial bands of the underground metal scene. TourniKueT continues their malovent assailment on the american society oganized religion, and moral structure. As they pave a yellow-brick road to hell...and encourage all to follow.
