TRANSTECH was formed by Zsolt Imre at the beggining of 2007. Originally the project was started with the name 'Alpha Omega' then 1 month later the name changed because it was used by an other band. Regarding the name we were trying to choose a name which gives the feeling of a dark cold, steel-strong and machine-like something and beside this it's a bit incomprehensible. Finally we chosen the name TRANSTECH which was the idea of Noemi Kondor. Meetly the name with both the image and music we try to create a special mood and sound which unambiguously points to the future gets inspiration from a possible scenario of the future. It's about an age which is the forerunner of a probable apocalypse - both physically and mentally. So that all is a bit about the present and a bit about the near future.
