Gene Rondina was born in Rhode Island and began playing guitar at the age of 7 and piano at 8.
He relocated to Texas in 1994, where the city of Austin provided him the opportunity to develop his talents. After four years on the Austin music scene he moved to Seattle Washington to pursue his music career.
In Seattle Mr. Rondina collaborated with John Tvrz on several projects and shortly thereafter 187elder was formed. In August of 2005, 187elder released their first album "Sanitized".
Mr. Rondina currently resides in Guantanamo Bay Cuba, where the second 187elder album is being produced.
Mr. Rondina is married and has two children, who are each musically gifted.

Mr. Rondina's second personality...
Mr. Rondina is also a seasoned investigator. After graduating highschool he entered into the US Army and attended the US Military Intelligence Academy in Fort Huachuca Arizona.
Following his service to the Army, Mr. Rondina entered the private security sector and advanced his education in this sector. Mr. Rondina is a skilled Forensic Interviewer and Interrogator, Surveillance Systems Specialist, Covert Systems Specialist, Physical Security Professional, Investigator, Analyst, Systems Analyst and Programmer, etc.
Mr. Rondina is working on his 12th year in the Private Security / Investigations Sector.
John Tvrz was raised in San Diego California, where he studied classical guitar. Later in his life he relocated to Hawaii, where he mentored under several traditional blues artists.
In 1998, Mr. Tvrz relocated to Seattle Washington, where he and Mr. Rondina formed 187elder.
In August of 2005, the "Sanitized" album was released. In addition to Mr. Tvrz's musical talents, he is also a published writer.
Mr. Tvrz and Mr. Rondina are currently in the process of producing their second album, due to be released in the spring of 2007.
